Tonight is the long anticipated Leonard Cohen show at The Chicago theatre. The 74 year old bard has been on the road for nearly a year now, with another one yet to go. It will be interesting to compare tonight's show to the one Heather and I saw last year in Toronto, which was the first of the tour. Perhaps he will again open the second set with
Tower of Song, accompanied by himself on the Casio.

The show was great, though the first half was a bit stiff and rote, especially compared to Toronto, where the room was charged with electricity. Things opened up in the second half. LC seemed to rela as did the audience. We got songs this time around that we didn't get in Toronto, such as So Long Marianne and Famous Blue Raincoat.
